Hey @vicky-kooyman, thanks for letting me know. Jeez it never fails that something goes wrong when you are trying so hard! I've fixed the pdf so all the pages are included–but now I have to figure out how to fix the rest of it.
I'm a knitwear designer and educator. Thanks for taking the time!

@jill-wolcott
Hi Jill
I'm new here and do not know exactly what you do. I tried to follow the link for your Headband Recipe and it gives me 4 pages. At the bottom of the pages it says there should be 8 pages. Am I missing the last 4 pages or are you splitting the distribution of the pattern. Sorry if this is a stupid question. -

Yes, it is daunting, I went by the picture of the card that they had up. I did wind up using Juli Tsyr but live and learn…make sure that whoever you use has the graphics you need. I was in too deep before I realized that she didn't have a graphic for a crochet hook so I had to go with just knitting needles. All in all, a good experience and…[Read more]

I'm so sorry for your loss!
With clients, I just update them with an email getting back in touch, detail level depending on how close we are, and include a tentative new timeline. Sometimes it helps if there is small progress I can do so that I can say, hey, I'm behind but I got this small thing done, I've had a family emergency and will need to…[Read more]

Whatcha Workin On? Lots of swatching, writing, knitting, tech editing and testing, so same old, same old.
What's Going Well? There is a *small* chance that I might book myself a flight and head across the Atlantic to go to EYF (It's on my bucket list). I'm waiting to make sure I have coverage for the kidlets. What's not going well is that my…[Read more]

(((Hugs)))I'm sorry for your loss. I have no advice other than you don't owe anyone an explanation and you should disclose no more or no less than you are comfortable disclosing.

What @katie-franceschi said! Follow people who will make coming to your IG feed a joy!
And, while you're at it, if anyone uses your hashtag (and is buying your patterns), follow them and encourage them all the time! (Unless they just post a lot of stuff that makes you miserable, like politics or religion).
In other words, don't worry about…[Read more] -

Oh, I'm so sorry for your loss, Linda. GIANT HUGS.
I know @sasha-torres lost her mother last year (or the year before) and she may have insight into how she handled it, but of course every situation is different.First of all, PERMISSION to not say anything. If you don't want to talk about it and don't want to say anything, don't. You certainly…[Read more]

So I'd love an update on where you are now, Dawn! I agree that your “plan for MONTH” is really just a to do, that you do each month. It's not like it takes other preparation (unless it does?).
I kinda think this goal (posts written through March, which is the end of the quarter) is either a goal for one month (ie, I'm going to write three month's…[Read more] -
