Jill Wolcott replied to the topic Help with TNNA Booth Idea in the forum Engineering 8 years, 4 months ago
@april-ridgeway, Lea-Ann brings up the first thing I thought of. I don't think you can just say let's band together to get a booth. TNNA has rules. The business must be a wholesale member of TNNA business umbrella. Stitch Sprouts does that.
But anyway, your customers aren't shops, it is designers, yarn companies, etc. I think the thing on…[Read more]

I'm so glad you decided to go with this, as it certainly didn't lead to the death of your company!
I haven't read that CIA article yet (will do!), but what I told all the yarn shops who asked this question was this: You need to be clear about what you care enough about that, damn the response, you're going to say it anyhow. If you don't feel that…[Read more] -

Whatcha workin on?
Today I'm catching up on paperwork and getting my studio a bit more in order. I still have a lot of year end stuff to finish up in addition to the business ending stuff. My studio still looks like chaos, but I got my speakers set up (important!!!), got a bulletin board up, and a clear shipping area.
I've been shipping out…[Read more]

It is a running joke with us @penny-shima-glanz. But he is a pretty faithful follower of my account. I always point out the cats, but I think he prefers doing his own perusal.

Hmmm, well, I won't be going to the Ceilidh. I know some people are only in town for Friday night. So, I'm open to still do dinner on Friday night or I could possibly do Saturday night, but I'm expecting to be pretty knackered after 2 days of vending.

what's going well & whatcha' workin' on?
Two weird weeks in a row. Yesterday was mostly a no good very bad day. It ended up ok after a long long talk with E, but blah. Last week was weird because I ended up sick. After fighting it all week I slept from Friday night (I fell asleep on the couch after dinner) through most of Saturday. It…[Read more]

@linda-tieu I am so sad and sorry for your loss. Lots of hugs for you and I hope you find some comfort in your happy memories of him and in your time with your family.
I don't have any advice, sorry. But I am very grateful that you opened up here, because the responses to your post have helped me, too.
