I’ve been working with several Recipe clients for many months. Each month, as their gentle-accountability runs out, they’ve chosen to renew it.
It makes me SO happy.
But also, it’s shown me that this method is sorta silly.
Yeah, if you only want one month of the Recipe, you should only get one month (right here, actually).
But if you know, as many dedicated-to-growing-their-business crafters do, that you want to commit to something longer, I should make it easy for you to do that!
So without further explanation (because if you’re considering this, I’m sure you already know me and what I do pretty well) here’s what we can do:
3 months of a three-course meal
For 3 months, you get:
1st course:
- A thought-provoking, place-finding questionnaire. It gives us both a sense of where you’re starting. It helps us build from the things you love and adore.
- One on one, hour-long conversation about your business. We ideastorm solutions, I explain something that’s stymied you and we talk about what you should prioritize in the next month. This is usually over Google chat (or any other text chat you prefer), but we can also do this over the phone.
- A transcript of that conversation (or, it’s over the phone, a recording)
2nd course:
- A list of the priorities you’ll work on over the month. This is decided BY YOU, after our conversation.
- Guilt-free, gentle email accountability. Once a week I send you a friendly email asking how your week has gone. You report back on what you got done, what you want to get done and what you’re struggling with.
Dessert course:
During these three months you can ask me any questions you have.
For example, I’ve given feedback on logos, proof-read sales pages and discussed photo-shoots.
This entire package, based on the prices I’m charging for a single month, should cost $600.

6 months of meals + classes
We start with all of the above (in the 3 month option), every month, for 6 months.
But you also get:
- Every class I have available for home-study, as you need them.
For example, if we talk about Pricing, instead of repeating what I taught in that class, I’ll send you the class, summary and worksheets.
- Chapters from my CraftyBiz Handbook as they are written. (I plan on writing at least 4 chapters in the next 6 months).
- Free admission to one CraftyBiz class a month, every month. You pick the class you want, from the 2-3 I teach each month.
These 6 months, plus classes should cost over $1400 (that doesn’t even count the Handbook, since I have no idea what I’m going to charge for it yet).

Why the secrecy?
I’m committed to only working with people and businesses I can really, truly help.
And the truth is, that’s not everybody. Some businesses are outside my expertise, some are built in a way I find unsustainable, some are not ready for this level of commitment.
Also, I’m restricted by this darn time/space continuum and only have so many thinky hours in a day. To make sure you get my thinky-est, I limit the number of one-on-one clients I take on.
To avoid saying NO to a lot of people, I choose to offer only a handful of people this option. If you’re here, than that’s you!
